About Us

The Ready4crisis project aims to enhance vocational education and training (VET) study programs for fire safety and crisis management. These study programs are rare but essential to the future generations of emergency services staff such as fire brigades, emergency units, paramedics, crisis managers, members of defence forces, and others. This project seeks to improve the staff’s skills, preparedness, and resilience to better react to emerging crises and natural hazards and save lives.

To achieve this goal, the project will develop modern and up-to-date educational materials for teachers and trainers of these subjects. The materials will be in digital formats, easily accessible and available to students and pupils in the study programs. The project recognizes the importance of having a highly educated future workforce, able to adapt to changing circumstances and effectively handle emergencies.

The project will also focus on enhancing the study programs’ monitoring and crisis management aspects. This includes training staff on monitoring and managing crises effectively using advanced methods and tools. The project will also develop innovative crisis management approaches, increasing emergency services staff’s preparedness and resilience.

With Ready4crisis, we can stride towards a safer and more secure society. By developing and improving the vocational education and training programs for fire safety and crisis management, the project can equip a highly skilled and capable workforce to handle any emergency.

The project “Ready4crisis-Innovation of the Monitoring and Crisis Management in the VET Study Programmes for an Integrated Rescue System” is an ambitious and unique three-year initiative co-funded by the European Union. The Erasmus+ KA2 Strategic Partnership Project, KA220-VET – Cooperation partnerships in vocational education and training, is a critical component of this project. The agreement number for the project is 2022-1-DE02-KA220-VET-000089097.
